Terms of service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Tailorstack, a platform operated by TailorStack Technologies Inc. (“Tailorstack,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or otherwise using Tailorstack, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

Tailorstack is a business-management platform for tailors and their clients. It provides tools for client management, measurement tracking, portfolio and gallery showcasing, order and invoice management, in-app messaging, tailor discovery, and escrow-protected payments processed through Stripe. Features may be added, changed, or removed over time.

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You must provide accurate, current information when registering and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
• Tailorstack supports both tailor (business) accounts and client accounts, each with different capabilities within the platform.

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any fraudulent, illegal, or unauthorized purpose.
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the platform’s source code or underlying data without permission.
• Impersonate another person or business, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users, including tailors and clients you interact with through the platform.
• Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the rights to share.

Tailorstack is a business-management tool that helps tailors and clients coordinate orders, measurements, and payments. We do not manufacture garments, perform tailoring services, or guarantee the quality, timeliness, or fit of any tailoring work — that responsibility lies between the tailor and the client. Nothing on the platform constitutes financial, legal, or professional advice.

You retain ownership of the content and data you upload — including measurements, photos, messages, and business information. By using Tailorstack, you grant us a limited license to host, store, and display that content as needed to operate the service (for example, showing a tailor’s public profile and portfolio to potential clients, or displaying order details to the relevant client).

• Payments between tailors and clients are processed through Stripe, including escrow-protected transactions where funds are held until agreed conditions are met.
• If Tailorstack offers paid subscription plans alongside a free tier, billing, renewal, and cancellation terms will be presented at the time of purchase.
• Disputes about the quality or delivery of tailoring services are between the tailor and the client; Tailorstack facilitates the transaction but is not a party to that underlying service agreement.
• Platform fees, if any, will be disclosed before you complete a transaction.

We aim to keep Tailorstack available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time, with notice where reasonably practicable.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tailorstack and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount of platform fees you paid to Tailorstack in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100 if no fees were paid.

The Tailorstack name, logo, design, and underlying software are owned by TailorStack Technologies Inc. and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding or platform code without prior written permission.

You may stop using Tailorstack and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting team@tailorstack.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably practicable.

We may revise these Terms from time to time — most notably once they have been reviewed by legal counsel. We will update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you through the app or by email before they take effect.
